Meetup - July 2026

Our latest community meetup brought us back to UOW Malaysia after three years, where we partnered with U9UP and UOWM DICE for an evening focused on one of the rapidly evolving areas in cybersecurity — AI security.

The session featured the founder and co-founders of U9UP, a Malaysian community dedicated to AI security. Throughout the evening, the speakers shared their research, insights, and experiences across various AI security topics, giving attendees a closer look at the emerging security challenges surrounding artificial intelligence and encouraging further discussion within the community.

The meetup also included an interactive mini competition, providing participants with an opportunity to put some of what they learned into practice while keeping the session engaging and collaborative.

A special thank you to UOW Malaysia for welcoming us back, and to UOWM DICE for their support in organizing the session. From the check-in process and specially designed name badges to the emceeing and overall coordination, their efforts helped make the evening a smooth and memorable one.
